What Childhood Experience Does
I believe that childhood experience completely causes*:
Â
Most differences in intelligence up to at least the level required to comfortably achieve a college degree in most subjects.
Most differences in physical coordination and physical quickness in people of similar size.
Most behavior issues, such as violent acts, crime, bullying, and suicide.
Most emotional issues and psychological distress.
Most cases in these psychiatric disorder categories: depressive; bipolar and related; anxiety; obsessive compulsive and related; feeding and eating; trauma and stress or related; dissociative; somatic symptom and related; sleep-wake; disruptive, impulse control and conduct; substance related and addictive; personality; and paraphilic.
Most of cases of ADHD.
Most cases of high functioning autism.
Many cases of schizophrenia spectrum and other psychotic disorders.
I also believe that childhood experience is a primary contributing factor for:
Most medical problems that are treated by primary care physicians.
Many other medical problems.
Susceptibility to dental problems.
*Completely causes means that if the effects of childhood experience are removed, the condition listed will no longer exist in that person.
