Introduction

In these pages, I explain the mechanisms that transform nearly identical newborns into the vast array of personalities we see around us. When applied fully, these simple ideas explain why some people graduate from college and others drop out of high school; why some people have stable, happy relationships and others can't find love wherever they look; why some people have mental illness; why some people are star athletes; and more. In short, they explain why we think most of what we think, say most of what we say, do most of what we do, and why people have different physical abilities.

I also describe a process that reverses the effects of childhood experience and restores us to our full potential. This process is not complicated - just look at and talk to a few pictures. However, many people will find the change process very emotionally difficult - those pictures, which must be looked at several times a week for months and years to produce significant change, bring up the very emotions most people spend their lives trying to avoid.

After reading these pages, you may still not fully understand how some of these ideas relate to you and others. That's because the application of these ideas is as complex as the people involved. It is beyond the scope of these pages to explain how the processes explained on these pages combine to produce specific individuals.

In the few places where gender matters, I have written these pages from a cis-gender point of view. I don't know the role of gender in non-cis-gendered people.

While each section can be understood alone, I recommend reading the next 4 sections - What Childhood Experience Does, Imprinted Faces, Category 1 and 2 Emotions, and Complaints - in order. Those pages lay out my basic ideas in a logical sequence.

I named this website "Its a delusion" because everyone thinks my ideas are delusions.  :)
